The White Room

Only one year after its opening in 2016, restaurant The White Room, located in the emblematic NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam, received its first Michelin star. The restaurant, which is advised by Michelin star chef Jacob Jan Boerma (3 Michelin stars), is managed by chef Randy Karman and both his menu and his team have received compliments from various reviewers and "foodies" since the opening. The finest quality ingredients with acid tones and the spices Boerma is known for, prepared with the fresh new cooking style of Karman, result in perfect dishes.

Michelin-star dinner on toplocation

It may be said, the location of the restaurant itself also deserves a star: The White Room is located in the "White Zaal" of NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. This location has been a restaurant since 1885 and can therefore be called the oldest restaurant in Amsterdam. The highly regarded location adds to the guest's overall experience, with many original features. The authentic wall decorations, the paintings and the ceiling ornaments blend seamlessly with the sleek design and light colors. The original details have been carefully restored with regard to their historical status, which together results in a special location to have a delicious and beautifully designed dinner.
