Cheap parking Amsterdam

If you come to Amsterdam by car, we recommend using a P+R Parking (Parking + Travel). This saves you a lot of money, because parking on the street in the city centre costs € 7,50 per hour. In the centre there are several parking garages with attractive offers. All car parks in the centre are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Parking in the city centre

At the IJDock parking garage you can park for € 10,00 for a whole day, and you can easily reserve your spot via the Interparking IJdock website. From this parking garage it is a 12 minute walk to the Noordermarkt or to Amsterdam Central Station.

Parking IJ-oever Centrum is a new garage, on the east side of the station; here you can reserve a parking space for € 10,00 per day as well. In the video (only in Dutch) you can see how it works.

P+R Parkings

P+R Parking spaces are secure parking garages around the centre of Amsterdam where you can park cheaply and switch easily and quickly to public transport. There is 24-hour supervision and toilets are provided. You can easily find the parking spaces thanks to the reference on the signs along the A1, A2 and ring A10. There are seven P+R parking spaces in Amsterdam. More information about the rates of P+R can be found on the website of the Gemeente Amsterdam.
