Vincent Cheese and Meat
Vincent offers home-cooked meals, soups and catering specialties at the store at the Nieuwmarkt. For lunch there is a choice of freshly baked white and brown bread (pistolet or soft bun). The bread come from the bakery that Vincent's great-grandfather once started on the Zeedijk. All sandwiches are freshly baked and prepared. The fillings (cold cuts, salads, cheese) are also freshly cut and topped. Lunch specials are the Mortadella sandwich, Vitello Tonato sandwich or Pastrami deluxe sandwich. From Thursday to Saturday they also have a Carpaccio sandwich, which we highly recommend!
Every week there is a sandwich of the week. The same goes for the meal of the week: a different dish every week. Easy if you do not feel like or you do not have time to cook: you will get a nice (evening) meal at an affordable price. All meals are prepared in their own kitchen without addition of substances and only lightly salted. In the winter months there are also delicious stews with a ball of minced meat (from their own butcher store) or a smoked sausage.
Delicious beef, pork from the Iberian pig, lamb from the Giethoorns Wiedelam and free-range chicken with the Kemper Corn chicken or the “Bresse” chicken as specials. All products they sell at Vincenct Cheese & Meat are of high quality.
The delicious Beemster Exclusive stands out as a cheese specialty. It is available in Young, Young matured,Old and Brokkel. You will also find cheese from Cheese Farm Sjaak at Vincent Cheese and Meat, as well as many other domestic and foreign cheeses.
