A hidden gem in the city centre: that is café and restaurant Blue. You can find Blue in the Kalverpassage shopping centre, at the top of the tower 'Kalvertoren'. Take the transparent lift 30 metres up in the middle of the shopping centre and feast your eyes on the enormous windows with a 360-degree view on Amsterdam. This is the best kept secret in the city!

Blue is open 7 days a week for breakfast (all day!), coffee and pastries, lunch, drinks or an early dinner. The menu is inspired by the many cultures that come together in Amsterdam. Expect home-made food served on colorful plates, surprising flavors and local products. Whether you fancy a healthy salad or a good burger with fries: Restaurant Blue offers something for everyone. The menu changes regularly, so you want to keep coming back. People with dietary requirements are also very welcome.
The door is open
At Blue you can just walk in, reservations are not necessary and not even possible (only until 12:00). Friendly waiters and waitresses always know to find a free place for you quickly. The upper space of the restaurant can be rented during the day for private groups up to 40 people, for example for a group lunch, a meeting or a reception. In the evening, the entire space can be used exclusively for a group dinner or a party with a stunning view of the illuminated city center.
