A special toy store with movement for every age! Plush beasts, Monchhichi, Hello Kitty, Ty beany babies, Barbapapa, Steiff, Papo knights, dragons, IQ puzzles, gadgets, optical illusions and clogs. They attrack a lot of attention with a shop window full of dancing, climbing and tumbling stuffed animals. The rubber duck bike in front of the store has been photographed thousands of times.
Knuffels since 1998
The enthusiastic owner Bruno Jonker is happy to give extensive advice. In his fairyland he cherishes the hundreds of plush animals of all shapes and sizes, from dogs and cats to cows and rabbits. Bruno is originally a goldsmith, but in the early 80s he decided to become skilled in the more lucrative clog-making profession. That was a great success and as a 'clog farmer' he traveled the world to demonstrate his craftsmanship, until circumstances forced him to stop. He opened his cuddly domain in the Antoniesbreestraat in 1998. "My girlfriend at the time hated cuddly toys and that gave me the idea to start a shop in it" he says. Under the shop he still has his clog maker's studio.
