The motto of Haesje Claes is well known to many locals: "From greaves to caviar: something for everyone.” In addition to the fixed menu, the specialties of the season are always on the menu, such as asparagus, deer, Zeeuwse clams or New Herring. In the afternoon, in addition to the fixed menu, a lunch menu is also available with croquettes, meatballs and omelets. Whether you come for a quick snack, an extensive lunch or a cozy dinner: everything is possible. During the terrace season, April to October, it is possible to have lunch or dinner on the terraces. The terrace in the Roskamsteeg is one of the city's hidden treasures. Highly recommended because it is nice and cool during hot days and away from the city hustle. It is also possible to visit the adjacent cafe De Koningshut before dinner (or after) and have a drink.
Haesje Claes is also very suitable to join with (large!) groups. On the upper floors, beautiful private rooms have been set up as a private dining room, where groups of 16 to more than 100 guest can accommodate.
