Want to discovery the beautfiul Jordaan area? With our scavenger hunt you will be your own guide in this loved neighborhood and you will discover both the neighborhood and the local delicacies that the Jordan has to offer. During the walk you will learn more about sights on the route and you will go in at various locations to taste local delicacies. The city walk comes as a scavenger hunt, but you could also ignore the questions and only do the walking route and gain knowledge about this unique neighborhood.
Tastings
The scavenger hunt will be sent to you by post, so that you can already prepare the activity at home. The package can be also be picked up at a location (will be discussed personally). The enclosed map shows the three locations that you will visit during the walk for tastings. During this activity you will enjoy:
a Brazilian brigadeiro, according to TripAdvisor (and us!) the # 1 dessert in Amsterdam;
pancake snack: typically Dutch with a modern twist;
one of the most famous stews in the Jordaan, with a tasty Texel beer.
Taste the Jordaan with guide
Do you prefer to walk through the neighborhood with a guide, who can tell you all about the fortunes of the neighborhood, the inhabitants and the history of the Jordaan? We then combine the four small tastings with a guided walk with a private guide. You choose the desired start and end point and the guide knows the locations where you will stop on the way. The arrangement with scavenger hunt is € 19,50 per person and including guide the costs are € 27,50 per person, with a minimum of 10 people. Mentioned price includes walking route or scavenger hunt in one or more groups with a pancake snack, a brigadeiro, a stew and a beer.
